Results of group and team work rely heavily upon the skills of the facilitator. Without his or her guidance, group work can move in the wrong direction, undermining the team product. With a well-trained, skilled facilitator, the quality of the team results will be magnified.

Facilitator System

Facilitator System is a custom designed training resource to develop facilitation skills among line employees. It includes a full spectrum of processes, guidelines and program outlines.

Our Competency Matrix is used to identify facilitation skills at three levels: Level 1 for intra-team activities, Level 2 for inter-team facilitation, Level 3 for strategic and organizational situations.

Facilitator Lab Assessment

This assessment initiates a process is for selection of facilitation candidates. Further, it exposes line employees to facilitation activities and requirements. It enables both the employee and the organization to determine readiness for entering the facilitation program and at what competency level.

Facilitator Orientation Training Program

Our three-day Role Clarification Program equips selected line employees to understand the purpose and application of facilitation within their organization.

Training experiences include actual team situations applied to Teaming By Design: Real Teams for Real People and the WorkStyle Patterns® Inventories . Specific instructions for the facilitator on how to use each chapter of the book and the inventories are provided along with practices exercises.

Facilitator Skill Development Program

Our five-day hands-on training program develops Level I competency for effective team facilitation. This practicum is loaded with a variety of team simulations in which each participant learns a group process, shares the learning and facilitates a group. It includes group feedback and a video critique.

We offer a custom version designed to integrate learning modules with existing training resources within the organization.
